How do I make an appointment for an onsite visit?
Appointments will be made prior to testing days through the corporate manager and the appointed person on site.
Appointments are restricted to 20 patients per day which makes it simple to calculate how many days testing are necessary.
Appointments can be arranged up to several months in advance.
Requirements for on-site eye testing?
Two separate rooms are required for an onsite visit
Room one: The test room. This room must be at least three meters in length. At least one power point is required with two chairs and a small table or desk.
Room two: The Dispensing room / area. This can be enclosed or open plan as there is no size restriction but it is best to be well lit. Two chairs and two or three tables or desks are required on which to display the frames with one power point.
What are the advantages for on-site eye testing?
Eye testing on-site has numerous advantages for both the employer and employee.
The employee is away from their workplace for a fraction of the time of an off-site visit.
The glasses, if required, are delivered back to the site for fitting.
Eliminates the involvement of HR staff for sight test requests / queries.
Increases your employee awareness and helps to fulfil the legislation requirements.
Private glasses are available at greatly reduced prices due to reduced overheads.
